The Council has officially given the green light to our new arts centre. Construction is set to kick off in Spring 2025. While we’re all excited about it, the completion timeline stretches between 2 to 5 years. This begs the question: What happens to the arts in Brentford in the meantime?
The promise of a new arts center is undoubtedly exciting. However, the lengthy timeline for its completion necessitates a transparent dialogue between the planners—be it the council or the developers, for the community whose cultural landscape will be under construction, literally and metaphorically, for years.
